Product Description There are two main producers of Roquerfort in France, Papillon (which we carry), and Bee Societe (which we also carry). Roquefort Bee Societe is perhaps the saltier of the two roqueforts - though Roquerfort cheese in general tends to be saltiest of blue cheeses. Made only in Southwestern France, Roquefort is a blue-veined cheese, intense, crumbly yet still deliciously buttery and creamy. It's sweet and tangy flavor pairs wells with fruits like pears and dates, and bitter salad greens. Pair with a sweet Sauternes wine.
