This orange variety is made in Tillamook, Oregon and has been aged a minimum of 60 days to enhance the flavor.
•
Tillamook has become a world renowned Cheddar due to a unique production process: the milk has been heat treated rather than pasteurized, which ensures that some of the beneficial bacteria remain.
•
The end result is a very flavorful Cheddar, quite unlike the typical mass produced varieties out there.
•
Try a cube right out of the package and savor the unique flavor.
Customer Reviews:
Good cheese. Odd photo.November 4, 2003 I like Tillamook cheese quite a bit, but this photo scares me. Did they just pick it off the grocery shelf, take it home for a photo shoot, and then put it in their fridge until someone orders it online?
