Easy to distinguish from ordinary Dutch cheese, Extra Aged Farmer Gouda is the dairy world's equivalent of a Rembrandt or Van Gogh. This Extra Aged Gouda is aged 18 months and is produced by CONO Kaasmakers under the Beemster brand. CONO is located in Northern Holland, famous for its rich milk and fertile grazing lands. Made from pasteurized cow's milk. Makes an excellent addition to the cheese tray, as an appetizer with crusty French bread or crackers, grated onto steamed vegetables, shaved over pasta or served as a dessert cheese with pears, apples or grapes.
